SCOPE OF WORK
- Installed a sheet pile cofferdam measuring 45.7 ft by 35.4 ft to support fuel tank installation
- Used ZZ14-770 sheet piles, each 35 ft in length
- Supplied two levels of internal bracing (W14x38 and W21x68) to stabilize the cofferdam
- Fabricated and installed the upper level of internal bracing on site
- Enabled safe excavation and installation of fuel tanks in a high water table environment

Due to the close proximity of adjacent structures and a high water table, the replacement of underground fuel tanks required a secure excavation solution. VanPile was contracted to furnish and install a sheet pile cofferdam to enable safe installation of the new tanks while maintaining structural stability and groundwater control.
