SCOPE OF WORK
- Installed 185 steel foundation piles (1,220 mm and 915 mm diameter) to support bridge piers
- Placed 8,200 m³ of concrete for pier caps and columns, and installed 273 precast box girder segments
- Removed and upland-disposed contaminated marine sediment, and densified soil with ~950 timber compaction piles
- Executed full site prep, excavation, fills, and electrical installations for bridge approaches

VanPile delivered complex marine and structural works for a 10-span precast segmental post-tensioned box girder bridge over the Fraser River. Innovative construction methods – including precast pier cap shells to eliminate cofferdams – earned the project the prestigious Montgomery Award for Construction Innovation.
