SCOPE OF WORK
- Constructed a 432 m berth using 10 sunken concrete caissons placed on a densified rock mattress
- Fabricated floating caissons at VanPile’s Vancouver Graving Dock, then floated and sunk into position
- Performed ~500,000 m³ of marine dredging and 1.5 million m³ of upland fill for terminal development
- Completed 3 months ahead of schedule, boosting container capacity and terminal efficiency

VanPile contributed to the successful and early completion of Canada’s busiest container terminal expansion at Deltaport. The project added a third berth and significant container storage capacity, increasing throughput by 600,000 TEUS to meet growing demand in Canadian trade through the West Coast.
