SCOPE OF WORK
- Supplied and installed 762 mm OD x 19 mm WT x 23 m long test and reaction piles to support structural loading requirements
- Constructed a reaction frame capable of sustaining a maximum test load of 6,000 kN
- Performed static load testing in accordance with ASTM D1143 to evaluate pile performance under axial loads
- Installed high-strain dynamic test instrumentation for both the test pile and a reaction pile following ASTM D4945
- Ensured data accuracy and reliability for the foundation design of the forthcoming tank farm, supporting long-term structural integrity

VP Foundations was engaged by DP World to execute a pile testing program in support of the foundation design for a new Canola Oil Transload Facility, part of planned 2024 construction at the Fraser Surrey Terminal. The work involved precision testing and instrumentation to ensure the foundation’s performance under high loading conditions.
