SCOPE OF WORK
- Installed a sealed steel sheet pile cut-off wall to contain and isolate contaminants
- Dredged and disposed of 26,000 m³ of material, sorted into cells based on contamination levels
- Placed engineered cover materials to stabilize and protect the remediated area
- Installed a NAPL drainage and collection system for long-term contaminant control
- Demolished and reconstructed existing wharf facilities while maintaining operational continuity

VanPile delivered a complex design-build site remediation project involving contaminated sediment removal, wharf reconstruction, and the installation of long-term environmental controls. The work was completed with minimal disruption to the client’s operations, despite challenging material handling requirements.
