SCOPE OF WORK
- Demolished three aging timber dolphins and replaced them with four 2 m diameter steel monopile dolphin assemblies
- Supplied and installed 24 precast relieving slabs across Berths 1 to 4, including substructure removal and soil disposal
- Completed multiple sheet pile wall upgrades and concrete ramp repairs along Berths 1 to 3
- Installed miscellaneous terminal infrastructure: ladders, anchor blocks, tide guides, fender units, and oil booms
- Enhanced terminal durability and vessel access at this critical BC Ferries maintenance hub

VanPile was contracted to upgrade the BC Ferries Deas FMU terminal in the Deas Basin, a key facility for vessel repairs. The scope included dolphin replacements, structural concrete work, and shoreline sheet pile repairs – delivered with minimal disruption to operational berths.
