SCOPE OF WORK
- Removed 4 aging timber dolphins and surrounding components near live fuel lines and electrical systems
- Installed 20 steel pipe piles (914 mm and 1067 mm diameter) in both vertical and batter orientations
- Constructed 5 new concrete berthing dolphins using precast and cast-in-place concrete during working with control tidal zone
- Modified existing dock with timber and steel components to integrate the new structures
- Installed fender systems, bollards, handrails, chains, and bullrails on all new berthing dolphins

In Burnaby, B.C., Vancouver Pile Driving (VanPile) upgraded the aging Shell fuel terminal infrastructure by replacing deteriorated timber dolphins with new steel and concrete berthing structures all while maintaining full operational capacity at the active dock.
