SCOPE OF WORK
- Installed 8 abutment piles measuring 914 mm in diameter and 30 m in length, forming the foundation for bridge approaches
- Installed 14 pier piles of 1524 mm diameter and 47 m length, supporting the new span structure over Highway 99
- Installed 360 vibro replacement stone columns to a depth of 25 m, improving ground stability and settlement performance
- Completed pile cleanout and steel reinforcement followed by 600 m³ of concrete infill, ensuring structural capacity
- Executed concrete girder installation to support superstructure construction over the active highway corridor

To accommodate increased traffic demand and population growth in the region, the Highway 99 Steveston Interchange is undergoing significant upgrades. VP Foundations was contracted to complete major foundation work, including deep piling, stone column ground improvement, and structural concrete work for new bridge components.
