In partnership with BESIX, VanPile is delivering a world-class LNG export berth in Kitimat, Northern B.C. – a key gateway connecting North America’s natural gas supply to global markets. This landmark infrastructure supports the growth of B.C.’s LNG industry and strengthens Canada’s role in global energy transition.
To support the expansion of the Mary River Mine in Nunavut, VanPile and its joint venture partner delivered a custom-designed, temporary offloading dock in one of Canada’s most remote arctic locations. The dock enabled efficient ship-to-shore transfer of heavy prefabricated modules during the short summer shipping window.
VanPile contributed to the successful and early completion of Canada’s busiest container terminal expansion at Deltaport. The project added a third berth and significant container storage capacity, increasing throughput by 600,000 TEUS to meet growing demand in Canadian trade through the West Coast.
VanPile delivered complex marine and structural works for a 10-span precast segmental post-tensioned box girder bridge over the Fraser River. Innovative construction methods – including precast pier cap shells to eliminate cofferdams – earned the project the prestigious Montgomery Award for Construction Innovation.
VanPile played a leading role in the marine construction for the William R. Bennett Bridge – an essential 2 km transportation link over Okanagan Lake.
The South Fraser Perimeter Road (SFPR) is a 40 km, four-lane corridor improving goods movement and easing congestion in Metro Vancouver.
