Due to the close proximity of adjacent structures and a high water table, the replacement of underground fuel tanks required a secure excavation solution. VanPile was contracted to furnish and install a sheet pile cofferdam to enable safe installation of the new tanks while maintaining structural stability and groundwater control.

To support the development of a proposed Sales Centre at Nexen Beach, ground improvement was required to mitigate seismic risks associated with liquefaction and lateral spreading of foreshore soils.

VP Foundations was contracted to perform land-based foundation piling inside Neptune Terminals, an active coal and potash export facility undergoing upgrades to its ship loading and conveyor systems.
